At 107 years old, Anneke Weterings-Maas was the oldest resident of Brabant. De Dongense was in any case a man of great numbers, with eleven children, 24 grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren. Marian Kroos, her youngest offspring, describes her with one sentence: “Our dear mother!”
