Angela de Jong believes that Glennis Grace does not deserve a place on Dutch television. She wonders whether Paul de Leeuw is thinking when he invites her to Ranking the Stars. “Disgusting.”

According to Angela de Jong, it is a shame that Glennis Grace has been given such a prominent role in Ranking the Stars, Paul de Leeuw’s TV show. She goes on a rampage and is also very aggressive, for example against Rob Goossens, whom she accuses of destroying her career. Quite laughable of course.

Glennis from the tube

We really need to get rid of that woman, Angela thinks. What is her wish for 2025? “Number 1: Glennis Grace will never be on TV again,” she sneers AD column. “It is downright disgusting that Glennis Grace is sitting there with her vulgar appearance.”

Paul de Leeuw should have scratched his head for a moment, Angela thinks. “Would the makers have given even a second thought to what it must be like for the Jumbo employees who were traumatized by her to see her now supposedly screeching at jokes about throwing shopping carts?”

Imitating Whitney

Glennis no longer deserves mass media, Angela thinks. “The fact that she has been convicted does not mean that she should again appear unhindered in TV entertainment. Let that woman imitate Whitney Houston in venues where you have to buy a ticket, so people can decide for themselves whether they want to see her.”

RTL 4 boss Peter van der Vorst is also hypocritical for bringing back Ranking the Stars, she thinks. “You know, the guy who was so proud of his ‘Start Loving, Stop Hating, Be Sweet’ campaign.”

Attention organs

It is ‘incomprehensible’ that Peter apparently thinks this fits with that idea. “I understand even less that people like Lilian Marijnissen, Sébas Diekstra and Robèrt van Beckhoven voluntarily sit among notorious attention-seekers like Gordon and Patty Brard.”

“Then you lose all your credibility in one fell swoop, and that says something in the case of Lilian, who participated in literally every TV game after her departure from the House of Representatives.”
