Andrea Cassarà under investigation: minor filmed in locker room

As reported by the Giornale di Brescia and by Ansa, the episode took place in the San Filippo gym. The police seized the phone from the two-time Olympic champion

The former Italian fencing player Andrea Cassarà, with two Olympic gold medals and eight world championship titles in his list of achievements, is under investigation by the Brescia prosecutor’s office for “production of child pornography”. In recent days the police seized his phone which will now have to be analysed. The Giornale di Brescia reported it today and the news was picked up by Ansa.

the complaint

According to what was written, the investigation arose from the complaint of a fifteen-year-old athlete who said she had seen a mobile phone filming her while she was in the shower in the changing rooms of the San Filippo gym in Brescia. The girl would not have seen who, perhaps through a grate, was holding the cell phone, but after the complaint the military acquired videos from the security cameras outside the gym.

compatible zone

Andrea Cassarà, through the videos, would have been seen in an area compatible with that indicated by the alleged young victim and at a compatible time. Hence the decision of the Brescia Prosecutor’s Office to investigate the former fencer and seize his cell phone in search of any evidence.
