In recent years, André Hazes was an open book: he gave every reporter a candid answer, even when it came to his family problems. Jordi really surprised there. “You have those artists who say everything, such as Anouk, and now I was on a press day of André Hazes and Mart Hoogkamer. That was about all kinds of new programs,” he starts in his podcast Strictly private.
He continues: “I have to say: I regularly interviewed André and there were times when you could ask him everything and that man answered everything, even though there was a column of ten people around him who had something like: don’t say this! Then why? “We were not allowed to talk about Rachel, we were not allowed to talk about Monique,” said Jordi. “You know me: I started asking when he will ask Monique to marry. But:” No, we’re not going to talk about that today. Only about the program! “
A remarkable new move, he thinks. “That can mean two things: either he has indeed really grown up or there is a new real -life soap in which they will sell that whole story.”

Co-host Jan Uriot thinks it may also be that André is now just a little better guided. “Or he has just had media training now. I think that’s it.”
