Against Anadolu Efes, who scored points with Clyburn, the visiting team, using the bottom of the basket effectively with Fall, finished the first period ahead 18-13.

Maintaining the score advantage with Vezenkov’s baskets, Olympiakos entered the final period with a 53-52 lead.

Meanwhile, Micic passed the 1000 assist threshold in his Europa League career with this match.

Anadolu Efes retired the jersey of former Croatian basketball player Krunoslav Simon.

The jersey of the experienced basketball player was hung in the hall with the ceremony held during the half-time of the Olympiakos game.

Simon became the third person to be honored in this way, after Anadolu Efes’ former head coach Aydın Örs and former player Petar Naumoski.

Anadolu Efes Sports Club President Tuncay Özilhan presented a plaque of appreciation to Simon.

The 37-year-old player, who wore the navy blue-white jersey between 2017-2022, won two European League, Basketball Super League, Turkish Cup and President’s Cup championships.
