Anadolu Efes beat Pınar Karşıyaka 81-77 in the semi-final match of the Basketball Men’s ING Turkish Cup Final Four organization and advanced to the final.
In the match that started with mutual points, Anadolu Efes won the first quarter 23-16, leading with fast attacks and free throws resulting from fouls.
Wanting to close the gap, Pınar Karşıyaka took the lead with 6.5 minutes left in the half with a tough defense: (24-23). However, Anadolu Efes took a 36-30 lead into the locker room with the critical 3-point baskets.
Pınar Karşıyaka started the third quarter well and took the lead 5 minutes before the end of the half with fast attacks: (49-45). Anadolu Efes shared the score with the baskets made from free throws resulting from fouls. The blue-whites, who prevented the opponent from scoring points with their tough defense under the basket, were ahead 57-56 in the third period.
Starting the last period quickly, Anadolu Efes increased the difference to 9 points (67-58) at one point. Preventing its opponent from closing the gap in the remaining time, Anadolu Efes won the match 81-77.
