Windows 10 and Windows 11 users have encountered a peculiar phenomenon.
For some reason, the latest update versions of these operating systems have automatically installed the HP Smart application on the user’s machine, even if the user does not own a single HP product.
To write about Windows Latest, according to which the application is installed via the Microsoft Store in connection with the Windows 11 23H2 and Windows 10 22H2 update. So far, it is not clear why this happens or how widespread the phenomenon is.
HP Smart is a completely harmless program. It is used to manage printers from the device manufacturer HP. The program is pre-installed on HP laptops, but now for some reason it spreads with Windows updates.
HP Smart can be removed manually. The application can be removed by finding it in the launch window, right-clicking on it and selecting uninstall.
