An outcry from Russia about the embarrassing situation in cross-country skiing – Finland is one of the culprits

The number and quality of Norwegian male skiers is mind-boggling. Cross-country skiing, especially on the men’s side, has drifted into an embarrassing situation, because the Norwegians dominated the sport to their heart’s content. The men have skied six competitions in the World Cup in the early season, which means there have been 18 podium places. The problem is that no less than 16 of them have gone to Norwegians.
