Alec Baldwin’s criminal charges are related to an accident that happened on the set of the movie Rust in October 2021. The actor was charged with the involuntary manslaughter of photographer Halyna Hutchins, 45. The fatal accident occurred when Alec fired a prop gun at the cameraman, unaware that it contained a real bullet.

From the beginning, the actor has denied that he is guilty of the charges brought by the Santa Fe district attorney. Alec’s lawyers Luke Nikas and Alex Spiro are, according to newspaper reports, satisfied with the decision to drop criminal charges.

Rust-film will continue shooting this week after a break of a year and a half.
