The City Safari is not just about catching rare Pokémon. The event lets players experience the city in a different way: walking past well -known places, discovering new routes and playing together with thousands of others. “It is the first time it is in Amsterdam and it is the biggest event in Europe of the moment. Yes, it’s great,” says one of the players.
The game has been a hit for generations and thousands of people are tracing the digital creatures every day. “Pokémon Go is going over generations. There are people who have been playing it for almost 10 years and there are people who have just had a mobile phone, knowing the cards and just playing. Everyone comes on,” says Game expert Jan Meijroos
