Amnesty denounces racism in Lithuanian migrant shelters: warm welcome to Ukrainians, violations of other refugees’ human rights

The Lithuanian authorities have arbitrarily detained thousands of migrants and refugees in militarized centers, where they were subjected to inhumane conditions, torture and other ill-treatment. This is according to a report from Amnesty International today. How these people have been treated is in stark contrast to the reception of people from Ukraine, according to the human rights organization.
