The Denver Broncos are for sale. The Pat D. Bowlen Trust Fund announced that the NFL team should have a new owner as soon as possible at the start of the coming season in the National Football League.
Former owner Bowlen died in 2019 and had transferred the Broncos to the fund long before that.
The organization is valued at $4 billion. Because NFL teams are so rarely sold, experts assume a higher selling price.
It seems certain that the Broncos will become the most expensive franchise ever sold in US sports. The record so far is held by the Brooklyn Nets from the NBA, which were sold for 2.35 billion US dollars in 2019.
