Amazon launches the fourth edition of “Un clic para el cole” in collaboration with the High Commissioner against Child Poverty

The project A click for school was born in 2020, the result of Amazon.es’ commitment to education, and is intended to support Spanish early childhood, primary and secondary education centers. After 3 editions of Un clic para el cole in which Amazon has already donated more than 6.5 million euros in virtual credit to more than 10,000 Spanish educational centers for the purchase of school supplies, in this fourth edition the company has signed an agreement with the High Commissioner against Child Poverty, so that the impact of the donations reaches the students who have the most difficulties. To this end, the High Commissioner against Child Poverty will be in charge of selecting the educational centers in vulnerable environments to which the donations will be allocated in the form of virtual credit and with which the centers will be able to acquire educational material for use in extracurricular activities. The main objective of this initiative is to reduce inequalities in health and well-being and generate spaces that promote sociability and social cohesion.. “We are very satisfied and grateful to be able to collaborate with the High Commissioner against Child Poverty in this new edition of Un clic para el cole and to help us select the educational centers in vulnerable environments that most need the donations that Amazon will make thanks to the purchases made by customers who sign up for this initiative” says Christoph Steck, Director of Public Affairs at Amazon in Spain and Portugal.
