There are also those who immerse themselves in the lake waters for curative purposes: it is possible in the amazing Lago Specchio di Venere, in Pantelleria in Sicily, which dazzles with the blue of its waters and rises in the extinct crater of an ancient volcano. The seabed is made up of thermal mud, the waters are warm and rich in sulphur. In short, it will not help to cool off, but the skin will gain from it.

To also listen to the throat, after the thermal bath falls perfectly a lunch from The Prince and the Pirate (Punta Karace, ilprincipeeilpirata.it) where it is the sea that dictates the menu including traditional couscous with fish and vegetables, red prawns from Mazara del Vallo grilled and panteschi baci, delicious pancakes typical of the island.
