      The conditions

Conditions are not easy in Kvitfjell today either and fog could be a factor during the race. It keeps moving along the route and could create different conditions for the runners.

      The team from Switzerland

Will it be in the top ten again?

The small DSV team is led by Kira Weidle (20), who should be aiming for a good result in the top ten again today. Emma Aicher (22) also has a chance of a good result. The winter has been difficult so far for Katrin Hirtl-Stanggassinger (35), who has not yet been able to score a single point in the World Cup.

      Tension around the small ball

The little ball remains exciting this winter. After six of nine Super-G competitions this winter, Gut-Behrami leads the overall discipline ranking with 360 points, closely followed by Cornelia Hütter with 355 points. Federica Brignone from Italy with 326 points and Stephanie Venier with 266 points are also still within reach of the Swiss. All athletes are now part of the narrow circle of favorites again.

      Super G instead of downhill

A downhill race was actually planned for this Saturday in Kvitfjell. However, bad weather thwarted the organizer’s plans and after there was no downhill training on Friday, the FIS, in consultation with the organizing committee, decided to delete the downhill from the program and replace it with a Super G.
