Alphonso Davies’ future plans leaked

Alphonso Davies is on the left side of defense at FC Bayern. For this reason, the German record champions should aim for a contract extension with the Canadian. Apparently the chances are not bad. As so often, the decisive factor could be the question of salary.

In January 2019, Alphonso Davies came to FC Bayern from the Vancouver Whitecaps from the MLS as a blank slate. The 22-year-old finally made the leap to become an international top player on Säbener Straße.

Whether under Niko Kovac, Hansi Flick or Julian Nagelsmann – Davies is an integral part of FC Bayern’s starting eleven.

“Sport Bild” recently reported that the German record champions want to extend the contract with the Canadian world championship driver as soon as possible. Davies’ advisor Nick Huoseh was recently on the Isar for talks. Both sides are “optimistic,” it said.

“Bild” football boss Christian Falk added again in his column for the “Caught Offside” portal. According to the reporter, Davies is currently earning around nine million euros a year at Bayern Munich.

Alphonso Davies apparently wants to stay at Bayern

According to Falk, the left-back would like to move up to the next salary bracket. The Bundesliga soccer club would therefore have to dig a little deeper into their pockets for further cooperation in the future.

However, there is also good news for FC Bayern at the same time. Davies apparently wants to extend his stay in Munich and continue his commitment to the German industry leader.

Most recently, the 22-year-old has been linked to other clubs like Real Madrid or Newcastle United – but it wasn’t really concrete. FC Bayern wants to preempt the advertising of other clubs. Davies is currently tied to the club until 2025.
