The next player has extended his contract with Bayern. Negotiations have been going on for weeks.
One day after Manuel Neuer, the next star of FC Bayern has extended his contract. On Tuesday evening, the Munich announced that Alphonso Davies extended his expiring contract and tied to the German record champions by 2030.
“We count him among the characters in the new generation of our team, which increasingly take responsibility. He grew up here – and he will continue to grow with the team,” said sports director Max Eberl, according to the announcement.
Davies switched to Munich for an estimated 14 million euros in January 2019, where he matured into a top player. Under the then coach Hansi Flick, Davies rose to the Munich team of Munich in the 2020 triple season and impressed with his high-speed football. According to phases of changeable ideas, the left -back under Vincent Kompany again shows stable performance.
“I came to Bayern at 18 and just wanted to learn as much as possible every day to become one of the best in my position,” said Davies. “Now I’m looking forward to another five years together. I have already achieved a lot here – but more will come.”
Negotiations with Davies had dragged on. After speculating about a switch to Real Madrid in the meantime, everything recently spoke for remaining at Bayern. Now the contract has been made perfect.
After the contract extension with Davies, the Bayern managers hope to be able to announce positive news at Jamal Musiala and Joshua Kimmich. Musiala’s contract runs until 2026, which is only dated by Kimmich until June 30, 2025. The future of Leroy Sané and Eric dier is open, whose contracts also expire at the end of the season. The extension with Thomas Müller is considered a matter of form.
