A new ranking has been announced in the NBA season’s MVP race and Alperen Şengün, the pride of Turkish basketball, left his mark on the list. The 23-year-old star center, who made a name for himself with his consistent performance with the Houston Rockets jersey, rose to 9th place in the MVP rankings.
At the top of the list was Denver Nuggets’ three-time MVP superstar Nikola Jokic, followed by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Luka Doncic and Victor Wembanyama completed the top five.
Alperen Şengün found himself a place in the list, right behind important stars such as Tyrese Maxey, Donovan Mitchell and Cade Cunningham.
