Over the past day, 74,692 new cases of infection with coronavirus infection COVID-19 have been detected in Russia, according to data from the federal operational headquarters. This is a new high since the beginning of the pandemic.
During the same day, 12,226 people with COVID-19 got into hospitals, which is only slightly less than the maximum recorded the day before (it was 12,837). 657 people died from the disease per day.
