It is a lot of work for one day of panties expo, now on Sunday during the flea market. Slypskapelle has 1,000 inhabitants and 15 associations, but everyone is concerned with the underpants adventure.
In the year 2000, Slypskapelle already stunted underpants. It all started with an idea of Master Luc Castelein, who has since died. It is now 25 years later.
Chris Scheldeman: “We had more than 4,200 at the time. We already have, without having to pick up 9,200. My husband would have been very proud of. Oh yes. He wanted to break the record of 6,000, but he didn’t get that.”
