JP Motorsport brings McLaren back to the ADAC GT Masters with a guest start. Ex-Formula 1 driver Christian Klien and reigning British GT champion Dennis Lind from Denmark share the cockpit of the car. The field therefore grows to 23 vehicles.
Leon Köhler makes his debut in the ADAC GT Masters with ID Racing. His teammate will be announced shortly. Otherwise the starting list is the same as that from Oschersleben.

ADAC GT Masters 2022: TV times and live stream
This year, RTL special-interest channel Nitro will be broadcasting all the ADAC GT Masters races live and in full, including pre- and post-reporting. In addition, live streams of the framework series are also available on the streaming portal RTL+. These run with route announcer comment. There are also streams from the races on the ADAC Motorsport website.
Live timing is available on the official ADAC GT Masters website. It opens automatically on the start page with every started session and then disappears again.

Balance of Performance (BoP) ADAC GT Masters Spielberg
The ADAC GT Masters does not have to create the balance of performance itself. Unlike the DTM, for example, the ADAC relies on the classifications by the GT3 parent organization SRO. In Spielberg, the BoP is used for type C routes. Type C means medium speed, high downforce.

The Red Bull Ring in Spielberg has been on the ADAC GT Masters calendar since it reopened in 2011. In the first few years, the event took place in August, after which it switched to the now traditional slot in early summer. Only in the 2020 Corona season did they deviate from this. In October 2020 you drove in Styria.
