WWE 2K24’s Showcase mode will celebrate 40 years of WrestleMania with a series of historic matches that will be replicable by players.

WWE 2K24 Showcase Mode is bigger than ever. Since it will celebrate 40 years of WrestleMania, it will include the beauty of 21 of the most iconic matches in the history of the show of shows, allowing players to recreate their historical phases complete with commentary from the wrestlers involved.

21 matches have been promised, as we said, but we don’t know them all yet, so here is a list of the matches confirmed so far for the WWE 2K24 Showcase mode.

The rumor —

If you’ve been keeping track, that’s 18 matches out of the 21 promised, so there’s still time before others are officially revealed. A couple of other matches have been teased in promotional trailers or screenshots, such as Kurt Angle vs. Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 21.

The Brock Lesnar case —

Furthermore, there has been speculation lately about the possibility of Brock Lesnar’s inclusion, given that 2K has already removed some controversial characters linked to the unpleasant Vince McMahon affair. Lesnar in particular has already disappeared from the cover of the special edition in the latest trailer, and one of the matches that was thought to be included in Showcase, Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30, may have been scrapped at the last second.
