Bon Jovi will release the reissue of their third album “Slippery When Wet” on February 28, 2025. The edition of the 1986 record will be released on vinyl, as a 2-CD deluxe set and in digital formats. There is also on the Bon Jovi page “Slippery When Wet” as an exclusive liquid-filled vinyl disc. Limited to 1,300 copies. Plus a picture disc limited to 1,500 copies. “Slippery When Wet” is also being released on cassette, limited to 500 copies.
The deluxe edition of “Slippery When Wet”
The deluxe edition includes an acoustic version of “Wanted Dead Or Alive” as well as four live recordings from the quintet’s 1987 “Slippery When Wet” tour. The deluxe version also contains previously unreleased mixes of “Livin’ On”. A Prayer (Thank You Goodnight Remix)”, which was only briefly heard in the band’s documentary series, and “Raise Your Hands (Extended Obie O’Brien Mix)”.

Video: Jon Bon Jovi saves woman from suicide jump from bridge
Jon Bon Jovi is said to have helped save a woman. She hung from a bridge in Nashville on Tuesday evening (September 12, 2024), presumably to kill herself.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the musician helped pull an unnamed woman to safety from the ledge of the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge, which spans the Cumberland River in Tennessee.
The highest point of the approximately one kilometer long bridge is almost one hundred meters.
“It takes all of us to keep each other safe,” Police Chief John Drake said in a statement. This was published on social media.

A video released by authorities shows Bon Jovi filming a music video on the bridge with a team. He pauses the recording when he sees the woman hanging from the ledge. The singer and another person approach the woman. Talk to her and ultimately help her to safety.
Bon Jovi is seen hugging the woman before disappearing from the camera shot along with the rest of the team.

JBJ Soul Foundation
In 2006, Jon Bon Jovi founded the JBJ Soul Foundation. His goal is to provide families in the United States a way out of homelessness, poverty and hunger through programs that provide food, affordable housing, social services and job training.
“Nearly two decades ago, when I founded the JBJ Soul Foundation and JBJ Soul Kitchens, I saw firsthand and continue to see the impact of nonprofit, community-based work,” Bon Jovi said in a statement earlier this year.
“One thing I know for sure is that when you help your community, you help yourself.”
