With millions of followers, Alisha Lehmann is one of the most famous faces in women’s football. Now your private life is in focus.
Alisha Lehmann has been in the spotlight for years: as a player on the square and with her great presence in social networks. Juventus Turin’s offensive player now has over 16.4 million fans on Instagram. Now the 26-year-old is faced with criticism from the personal environment.
In a club podcast, she told a statement by a former teammate: “Negative comments don’t usually take care of me. But two weeks ago she said things in a podcast in Switzerland,” said the Swiss woman. “I thought we were friends.”
The problem is less what the former player is said to have said, but that she comes from Lehmann’s surrounding area: “It hurt me, but only of people who mean something to me,” she said. She didn’t give a name.
In an interview in her homeland, the ex-team colleague indicated that Lehmann’s football career is suffering from her activities for brands and networks. The statements at Lehmann met with incomprehension.
Lehmann described that she sent a voice message to the former colleague. “I told her that I can’t find it okay because she doesn’t understand how my life works.” In her opinion, the criticism that she would spend too much time with social media and advertising projects is unfounded.
In the conversation, the Swiss international emphasized that she trains hard at Juventus every day, works disciplined and that nothing was guilty. She is always on time and try to do her best every day. If the criticism affects her style of play, she could accept that – but when it comes to her private life.
