Three-time Olympic champion Alexander Bolshunov28, was not in the mood after finishing fourth in the traditional sprint at the Russian Cup.
When Match TV reporter Mikhail Gorevanov tried to get comments from the man after the race, the skiing star’s behavior was inferior.
– You don’t need Bolshunov to become famous. Do a lot of work and good interviews, and people will know who you are, Bolšunov had stated to Match TV’s reporter Championatin by.
Match TV expert Dmitry Guberniev did not like Bolshunov’s behavior.
– Bolshunov is a wonderful champion and a great skier, whose achievements we all appreciate, but don’t behave hysterically. This made no sense, Guberniev stated in an interview with Championat.
Guberniev understands that the skier is annoyed when the race didn’t go ahead, but he thinks the athletes should still respect the journalists, because without them no one would know about Bolšunov either.
– Who would know the great masters if there were no television and journalists? Guberniev said.
He also reminded that there are countless champions who have won something, but no one knows anything about them because nothing is written about them.
