Nick Woltemade has not only been a courted striker since the U21 European Championship. At FC Bayern, some hopes that he will play in Munich next season.
Aleksandar Pavlović would like to lure his new national team colleague Nick Woltemade to Munich to FC Bayern. “Nick is a good friend of mine. And of course I would be happy,” said Pavlović in Charlotte about a possible change from the Stuttgart attacker to Munich.
He had already approached Woltemade because of a possible change – but with a wink. “I’ve already done a few jokes with him,” said Pavlović. At the same time, he showed that more could be behind it: “We will see what will be due in the future,” said the midfielder and added: “I’m already on it.”
Both had played together for the German national team at the Nations League final tournament for the first time. Woltemade, 23 years old, is currently excited about the U21 European Championship in Slovakia. In the 3-2 victory after extra time against Italy, he met again. With a total of five goals, he is currently the best scorer of the tournament.
Pavlović did not completely follow the game, but looked at the highlights: “I didn’t look at the game against Italy: only the goals, also from the Nick Woltemade,” said the Munich. The move into the semi -finals is particularly pleased: “I am very pleased that you are now in the semi -finals.”
