After numerous negative messages and serious injuries, FC Bayern has positive news. A star that threatened to fall out for a long time is facing his comeback.

Aleksandar Pavlović is making great progress on his way to a comeback at Bayern. T-online caught the 20-year-old, who was recently suffering from Pfeifferschem glandular fever, on Thursday morning on the training ground on Säbener Strasse. There the central midfielder completed a very intensive individual practice unit. Pavlović worked with ball again continuously and left an extremely good and dynamic impression during the sweaty exercises.

A return to team training seems to be only a matter of time. The Augsburg game definitely comes too early for him. Head coach Vincent Kompany also excluded a mission at the final press conference and announced that the same staff would be available to him as last in 3-2 against FC St. Pauli.

Pavlović may be able to train together with the teammates from next week and will soon be an important option for Kompany in the matchday squad.

Most recently, Pavlović had only trained in the weight room and had returned to the training ground for the first time on Tuesday. Pavlović contested his last game for Bavaria on February 23 in the Bundesliga against Eintracht Frankfurt. This was followed by the forced break and the bitter diagnosis.

Pfeiffersche’s glandular fever is so dangerous because it can become chronic if the body is challenged too early. Despite all the positive signals, Kompany will surely lead to his comeback despite all the positive signals.

“He needs time,” Kompany said recently about Pavlović. “We do not put him under pressure and proceed every week. If the doctors say that he is ready to play, we will work out a plan.”
