The investigation into the shot fired from his gun that killed a camerawoman on the film set of “Rust” is still ongoing – Alec Baldwin is nevertheless reported to the industry portal According to Deadline be seen on screens in two Italian Christmas films.

Fresh start in Rome

Accordingly, the 63-year-old actor will be seen in the two family comedies “Kid Santa” and “Billie’s Magic World” together with his brother William Baldwin. In it, live action and animation are to be interwoven. In the meantime, the Italian production companies Minerva Pictures and ILBE have confirmed to the press that shooting will take place in Rome in a few days and will last around four weeks. Italian filmmaker Francesco Cinquemani is apparently responsible for directing.

A few weeks ago, Baldwin indicated in a video published on Instagram that he had returned to the camera. It was a strange feeling to be back at work after the fatal incident on October 21 last year, the actor said at the time. At the time, he did not reveal which film it was. However, media have speculated about a thriller filmed in England called 97 Minutes.

The victim’s family charged Baldwin – who rejects any guilt

On October 21 of last year, Baldwin fired a prop gun on the set of the western Rust at Bonanza Creed Ranch in New Mexico. This killed camerawoman Halyna Hutchins; director Joel Souza sustained injuries to his shoulder.

Baldwin, like the armorer, has repeatedly denied any responsibility. Relatives of the shot camerawoman, however, accuse the actor and other responsible persons of grossly negligent behavior. In February, they filed a lawsuit against Baldwin alleging that Hutchins died during production as a result of “reckless conduct and cost cutting.”
