Albert Verlinde confirms it rumor that again, just like during their wedding crisis, he no longer lives in one house with his Onno Hoes. “He’s in our house in Brabant, that’s easier.”
More than ten years ago, Albert Verlinde and Onno Hoes announced that they would separate, but in the end they stayed together. Two years ago they moved to a million apartment in Amsterdam, where one of their neighbors was recently arrested by the FIOD. In the meantime, they also maintained their villa in Cromvoirt in Brabant.
Separate lives
Onno is currently living in that house in Brabant, while Albert is on his own in the capital. “He has been a replacement mayor of Tilburg since 1 September, so it is easier for him to live in the area,” said the RTL Tonight expert in Weekblad Story.
He continues: “For me it is more convenient that I live in Amsterdam, because of the recordings of RTL Late Night and the preparations for my new productions Brel de Musical and We Will Rock You. So we lead separate lives again.”
Only in weekend
When will Albert and Onno see each other? “We see each other in the weekends. But nevertheless we feel more together than ever.”
The RTL Boulevard founder is not afraid that they will grow apart. “We have had a wonderful summer vacation. Onno and I stayed in the Netherlands. It was nice to just be together. It all doesn’t have to be so big and compelling. That time is behind me.”
Boring life
Albert got a bit of a boring life. “It will undoubtedly have to do with age. That also brings peace. And of course we knew that we would both be very busy from September.”
Finally: does he already regret his transfer to the failed RTL Tonight? “I never regret things. And I hope it will be fine. I am also involved for the team that is working so hard on it. I am also involved behind the scenes. I feel responsible for all these people. They are often so young. I hope it will be fine for everyone.”
