Alba Berlin is rewarded for a furious final sprint

Alba Berlin prevented the second defeat of the season in the basketball Bundesliga with a furious final sprint. The champions defeated medi Bayreuth, second from bottom in the table, 91:83 (40:49) in the fourth quarter despite being 15 points behind.

With a record of 8:1 victories, the Berliners have drawn level with FC Bayern Munich (8:1), but are in first place in the table due to the better basket ratio.
