Akseli Herlev’s makeup led to police interrogation.

Known as a burger man, Akseli Herlev’s fierce make-up attracted attention at the Tuska Festival at the weekend. Herlevi had drained the blood of the beef and drawn blood vessels on her face.
– The blood of the beef was on offer, so I bought it a bottle. The seller said that the group of three friends had also bought blood, but they had decided to spit it on each other. I still had such a light version.
He says he got some gaze in his loud appearance, but mainly the comments were positive.
– Somewhere in the food or drink stall, the seller said I was so scary that I don’t know if I dare to sell me.
He felt that the pain would be the right festival for such a look.
– There’s a lot of a lot of people dressed and masked there. But still, at the same time, it is a festival where there is hardly any disorder or anything else. It looks bad, but there are the best behavior people.
The outfit was so real that it also raised concern. After the festivals, Herlevi had ended up in a bar where the police appeared.
– They asked what was like. When I told you that festivals were coming and all ok, they ripped full laughter, Herlevi says.
According to Herlev, frozen beef blood felt cold when poured. However, it dried quickly and did not smell after drying.
– It slightly tightened the skin in the same way as a face mask.
According to Herlev, however, playing with blood is so messy that you didn’t bother to use it for every day’s festival outfit.
– I had an old broken shirt for the purpose that I cut a little more open. There was no leaving shirt for posterity.

Herlevi also posted a picture of her Instagram account on the subject. In the caption, he tells how the outfit was part of the performance, where he explored the interface between ugliness and beauty and goodness and evil.
– I wanted to highlight how things can sometimes be the opposite of what they look. Blood is a provocative element, but that’s why it is an effective tool for art, Herlevi writes.
