Ajax gets the punishment for it many fireworks that were set off by the hard core of supporters during the home match against FC Groningen on November 30. That match was abandoned and played out later. The fans commemorated a deceased supporter with many fireworks. According to general manager Menno Geelen, many Ajax fans without tickets entered the stadium via an emergency exit with fireworks.

No arrests yet

The Johan Cruijff ArenA reported crimes including trespassing, public violence and arson. At the beginning of December it was announced that ten to fifteen suspects had been identified based on images. No arrests have yet been made in the case, a spokesperson for the Amsterdam police said on Wednesday.

Ajax decided to keep the F-Side empty during the home match against Feyenoord on December 14. The professional football prosecutor took this into account when determining his sentence.
