There is a possibility that Ajax will become national champion on Sunday evening. The team from Amsterdam must then beat AZ and Feyenoord must beat PSV. It is just not the case that the scale will appear on Sunday.

Leader Ajax kicks off on Sunday at 2.30 pm against AZ in Alkmaar. Number two PSV only starts the away game against Feyenoord at 4.45 pm. The gap between Ajax and PSV is currently four points with three games to go. That means that the team of coach Erik ten Hag will only become champion on Sunday with a win against AZ and a defeat by PSV.
Because Ajax cannot celebrate the championship after its own match, the team from Amsterdam will receive the bowl after the next match. The KNVB informs NH Sport about this. On Wednesday 11 May Ajax will play at home against sc Heerenveen.
If Ajax does not become champion on Sunday, the bowl will come to Amsterdam on May 11 anyway. The decision can be made on that evening, because PSV plays against NEC at the same time.
