“Unfortunately, Julian did not succeed in making the final step to Ajax 1 last season. In Almere he gets the chance to fight for the championship and to be able to further develop himself in a different environment,” says Technical Director Alex Kroes of Ajax in a press release.
Rijkhoff went through Ajax’s youth academy, before he switched to Borussia Dortmund at the age of 16. In the winter of 2024, Ajax returned the striker. His contract with Ajax runs until June 30, 2027.
