“Ajax has decided to abort the training camp in the Algarve with immediate effect. This is as a result of some positive results after corona tests taken in the hotel,” the club reports.
„To prevent an outbreak and with a view to the start of the second half of the season, Sunday January 16 against FC Utrecht, Ajax does not want to take any risks. Therefore, from a preventive point of view, it was decided to return to Amsterdam on Wednesday.”

Ajax traveled to Portugal on Monday with sixty people (players and staff members). Everyone was negative when they left. These tests were taken shortly before departure.
