After a two-year break due to the corona virus, Airbeat One – like many other festivals – can finally take place again this year. Around 65,000 visitors are expected in Neustadt-Glewe in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania for the extended festival weekend from July 6th to 10th. They can look forward to the largest festival stage in Europe, a top-class line-up and breathtaking pyro effects. All information about arrival, music, camping and weather here at a glance.
The line-up at Airbeat One 2022
At Airbeat One 2022, over 300 artists will play on up to 7 stages. Many of the acts originally booked for 2020 and 2021 are still with us. For example the Dutch DJs Afrojack and Armin van Burren or the American trance expert Steve Aoki. But German artists such as Paul Kalkbrenner, Robin Schulz and Alle Farben are also taking part in Airbeat 2022. You can find the full line-up here.
Getting to the festival site
You can easily travel to Neustadt-Glewe by train. The regional train 14 that runs there runs regularly between Hagenow Stadt and Parchim. The festival operators offer a free shuttle bus from the train station to the festival site. Alternatively, you can also travel by car via the A24.
The weather at the weekend
A boozy festival weekend awaits the visitors. Unfortunately, the emphasis here is on “moist”. The chance of rain is around 90% on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. However, it should not rain much and permanently and the sun can probably be seen from time to time. The temperatures are around 20 degrees during the day and around 12 degrees at night.
Camping at Airbeat One
On the Airbeat One 2022 there is five different campsites. The Main Campground opens at 10am on Wednesday July 6th. You must check out by Sunday at 2 p.m. On the “North Campsite” you can set up your tent undisturbed by cars, while on “Special-Camping” and “Easy-Camping” you can even book a ready-to-move-in tent. If you like it a little more luxurious, “VIP camping” is the right choice.
