For Monday’s date May 11, 2026 a strike was called air transport. The abstention from work will create greater problems for travellers navigating personnel (pilots and flight attendants) by EasyJet. The British carrier’s employees will fold their arms for eight hoursprecisely from 10am to 6pm. Enav air traffic control workers at the control center at the airports of Rome and Naples are also on strike. At the Roman airports (Fiumicino and Ciampino) the staff in charge of security checks will also stop for four hours (from 12pm to 4pm). Enac (National Civil Aviation Authority) reminds you that during strikes there are protection time slots, from 7am to 10am and from 6pm to 9pmin which flights must still be carried out. These two periods, however, do not include the period of time in which EasyJet flight staff will abstain from work.
