With the spring/summer 2027 “Mercato” collection, AIGNER immerses itself in this world full of life, authenticity and Italian soul. The collection is a tribute to the art of manufacturing – characterized by creativity, precision and a deep-rooted understanding of quality. This skill has always been the foundation of true perfection.
In the area of tension between tradition and modernity, a collection is created that combines innovation with clear aesthetics: functional, durable and uncompromisingly high quality. “Mercato” becomes a symbol of a place where not only goods are traded, but values – quality, authenticity and timeless elegance.
In addition to classic red tones such as “Burgundy” and “Port Red”, AIGNER presents a new iconic color with “Chianti Red”. Light shades such as “Cotton White”, “Travertine Beige” and “Terracotta Rose” meet cool accents in “Nostalgia Blue”, “Luminoso Blue” and “Marmo Grey”. The palette is complemented by warm leather tones such as “Saddle Brown” and “Cognac Brown”, which underline the collection’s artisanal DNA.
Cybill Specials
In addition to the classics in the seasonal colors and the Cybill Bag Cestino, the collection also includes three special highlights. The Cybill Bag Budapest takes up characteristic elements of the iconic Budapest bag, such as decorative hole patterns and the striking fringed leaf, which give the bag its unmistakable look. The Cybill Bag Pitone sets modern accents with its elegant snakeskin look in “Burgundy” and “Nostalgia Blue”. The Cybill Bag Gazzetta combines functional design with modern elegance. Distinctive leather straps with iconic horseshoe details on the front capture the lightness of everyday Italian life and offer stylish space for magazines or personal essentials.
Mercato
Inspired by an iconic AIGNER bag from the 2000s, the Mercato Bag combines the lightness of an Italian market basket with the exclusivity of modern leather craftsmanship. Striking braided details in the elaborate intrecciato technique give the bag its sculptural silhouette and underline the handcrafted character. A canvas logo pouch inside complements the design and combines functionality with luxurious sophistication.
Brera
Inspired by the Milan district of Brera – creative, cultural and full of urban life – the Brera Bag reinterprets classic codes from the AIGNER archive in a modern way. The series includes two East-West Bags and a Bowling Bag made of black smooth leather with brown contrast stitching. Contrasting edges in “Saddle Brown” and a leather-covered carabiner underline the high standards of craftsmanship and give the models their modern character.
Falena
Soft gathers, inspired by the flapping of a butterfly’s wings, give the Falena Bag its name. Flowing shapes made of soft, smooth leather create a silhouette full of lightness and movement. The characteristic ruffled front, a drawstring with a logo ball and slim “skinny tube” handles underline its modern, feminine look. The series includes an elegant evening bag, a shoulder bag for everyday wear and a generous hobo with casual volume.
Pallina
The Pallina Bag also uses the logo balls as a closure detail. With its solid metal frame, it reinterprets the frame clutch trend and combines it with the nostalgic look of classic retro purses. Color-contrasting lining and an optional chain strap give the bag modern versatility and make it a contemporary evening bag.
Lucia
With the Lucia Bag, the body and handle merge into a harmonious unit and form a trendy moon shape. A luxurious logo metal clasp with a fine leather inlay surrounds the handle and creates an exciting contrast between cool metal and soft leather.
Ina
After its launch as an accessory last season, the Ina Bag now appears as a versatile handbag. The leather-covered signature carabiner allows for different carrying options and makes the model a modern all-rounder. A special highlight of the Ina Bag Timbro is an unusual leather embossing: Iconic motifs such as horseshoes, saddles, hearts and other souvenir charms give the bag a playful, yet handcrafted character.
