Milano, 6 Nov. (askanews) – Artificial intelligence is the technology that has spread most rapidly in history. Microsoft’s first report on the topic says so (AI Diffusion Report, developed by Microsoft AI for Good Lab): with over 1.2 billion users reached in less than three years, it has an adoption rate higher than that of the internet, personal computers and smartphones.
The highest rates of AI adoption are in the United Arab Emirates (59.4%), Singapore (58.6%), Norway (45.3%) and Ireland (41.7%). These countries are driven by digital infrastructure and skills.
AI boom, no technology has ever spread so quickly. The Italian data
Italy records an AI diffusion rate of 25.8% among the working-age population, slightly above the Global North average (23%), close to the United States (26.3%), much lower than France (40.9%), Spain (39.7%) and the United Kingdom (36.4%).
