Sergio Agüero, the top scorer in the history of Manchester City, blessed the signing of Erling Haaland and said that he will score many goals with the English team.
The Argentine spoke before the media after the inauguration of his statue in the vicinity of the Etihad Stadium, on the tenth anniversary of his goal in added time against Queen’s Park Rangers that gave the Celestes the league in 2012.
“He’s a great striker,” Aguero said when asked about Haaland, announced this week as City’s new signing. “I hope that he adapts well to the team because it is not easy to play in the Premier League,” the Argentine continued.
“I wish him the best, because now I’m a Manchester City fan and I hope he scores a lot of goals,” added the striker.
Agüero, in addition to becoming the foreigner with the most goals in the Premier, won the league five times, to add a total of 15 trophies with City.
