Jonathan Tah should actually switch from Bayer Leverkusen to FC Bayern Munich. Now Bayer still gets money.

According to media reports, the German record champions transferred 800,000 euros to Leverkusen for the central defender so that the Munich Tah can already use the upcoming club World Cup. Depending on the performance of Bayern, the sum can increase to over one million euros.

Tah’s contract runs until June 30th

Tahs switching to Bavaria this summer has been fixed since last week and would actually have not required a transfer. Since the defense lawyer’s contract in Leverkusen only expires after June 30, the club World Cup must be renegotiated. There the team of coach Vincent Kompany will play their first game on June 15th.

Tah is currently still at the German national team. The selection of national coach Julian Nagelsmann will meet on Sunday (from 3 p.m. live in the AudioStream on Sportschau.de) in the game for third place in the Nations League.

Not the first transfer fee for two weeks of contract

An early obligation is only possible by a transfer window of the World Association FIFA specially introduced for the club World Cup. Bayern also want to use this with a view to Tom Bishop. The midfielder comes from TSG Hoffenheim in the summer, and the Kraichgauer also demand a transfer for the early release.

Real Madrid has already paid a high transfer fee for a player -free player this summer. According to the matching media reports, the “royal” paid around ten million euros to Liverpool FC in order to use the English international Trent Alexander-Arnold for the club World Cup.
