Nurse Brenda from the emergency room in Den Bosch regularly has to deal with aggression. Recently she was verbally abused, filmed and threatened by a patient who demanded acute care. The situation escalated to such an extent that security and police had to intervene. Aggression against healthcare staff is increasing: the Elisabeth-TweeSteden Hospital in Tilburg registered an increase from 430 reports in 2024 to 561 in 2025. The four Tilburg residents suspected of the explosion and arson at a synagogue in Rotterdam will remain in custody for thirty days longer. These are two 19-year-old men, one 18-year-old and a 17-year-old boy, who are suspected of arson with terrorist intent. The police tracked them down through remarkable driving behavior; A jerry can was found in their car. Later, a fifth suspect aged 19 from Tilburg was also arrested. The Consumers’ Association reprimands Jumbo for a misleading Easter advertisement.
