It’s never too late to fulfill an old promise. So NH Helps presenter Rachel Morssink went to Peter van Diemen in Diemen to surprise him with a real NH hat!
Last Christmas, Peter van Diemen was appointed Christmas Champion because of his efforts as a volunteer and was allowed to make a wish. He wanted a hat with the NH logo. Anita Botman-Verdonk from Wervershoof took her knitting needles and made a beautiful hat. Rachel Morssink personally brought the hat to Peter, who is very happy with it. Promise finally fulfilled.
