After TOP relegation, Frank Mostard returns to Blauw-Wit korfball players

Frank Mostard exchanges TOP’s red and white shirt for AKC Blauw-Wit’s uniform. After playing korfball for four seasons in Sassenheim, 29-year-old Mostard is returning to the old nest.

In 2018, Mostard went the opposite way. After five seasons for Blauw-Wit, he chose the club that played the final of the Korfbal League for the fifth time in a row. The reigning national champion still managed to become European champion in 2019, but the final for the national title was destined to PKC and Fortuna in the years that followed.

This season TOP played in the relegation group against Blauw-Wit and Groen Geel, among others. The Sassenheimers were one of the three direct relegants from the Korfbal League. “Blue and White will feel like home again,” says Mostard. The team from Amsterdam managed to maintain themselves at the highest level without any problems.
