DOW JONES–Very firm guidelines from the US stock exchanges supported prices somewhat in after-hours trading on Monday.
Continental was priced a good 1 percent lower after French competitor Michelin lowered its annual forecast.
Medios did not benefit from their upcoming inclusion in the SDAX. In the evening, the stocks were trading just below the closing price of Xetra trading. They will be promoted to the SDAX unscheduled at the start of trading on Thursday, where they will replace Ceconomy shares. Ceconomy have to leave the index because the free float of the shares has fallen below 10 percent and therefore no longer meets the criteria for remaining. Ceconomy’s course also barely reacted.
