After only eight matches in the first FC Volendam, 17-year-old Jozhua Trusted leaves the fishing village. He will play for FC Utrecht next season. In the Domstad he will sign a contract for four years.
“We see a player with a lot of potential in Jozhua. At FC Volendam he has undergone significant development in a short time and we are excited to work with Jozhua to continue that development curve,” says ttechnical director Jordy Zuidam of FC Utrecht.
The left back made his main squad debut at FC Volendam in February. He did that in the 4-1 win against Helmond Sport. Trusted also played in the youth of AZ, Hollandia and Fortuna Wormerveer. In 2020 he ended up in the youth teams of Volendam.
