AFTER MARKET/XDAX +0.1% to 15,751 points – Focus on Software AG

FRANKFURT (Dow Jones) — Software AG shares were the focus of Thursday’s after-hours trading. Investor Silver Lake has increased its takeover bid for Software AG. As the software company announced, Silver Lake is now offering EUR 2 more than before at EUR 32 per share. This means that the investment company remains under the rumored counter-bid by the investor Bain Capital, who, according to a report by the Bloomberg news agency, is said to have offered 34 euros per share. Software AG shares were valued 0.1 percent higher at €34.90 at Lang & Schwarz.

The truck supplier SAF-Holland started the year 2023 with significant growth in sales and earnings. In the first quarter, sales revenues climbed by almost 30 percent to 480.4 million euros, as the SDAX company announced. The Haldex acquisition was consolidated for the first time since February 21. Organic sales growth was 10.8 percent. The stock traded 2 percent higher.

The unscheduled index changes by Deutsche Börse had no impact on the shares concerned. Evotec stocks must leave the MDAX and TecDAX. In return, the SMA Solar shares will move up from the SDAX to the MDAX. The shares of Süss Microtec take the place in the SDAX. Kontron shares are included in the TecDax. The changes will come into effect with the start of trading on May 9th.
