Emrehan Gedikli will play for Konyaspor in the Süper Lig in the future. The 20-year-old German-Turkish signed a contract with the current second-placed team that runs until 2026. Gedikli was most recently employed by league rivals Trabzonspor, but only made a short appearance there in a year and a half. As a result, he terminated his contract with Trabzon on Tuesday and was therefore available for Konya on a free transfer.
The attacker was trained at Bayer 04 Leverkusen and made his professional debut there in November 2020. In February 2022, after four professional appearances, he moved to Turkey, and in January 2023 he was again awarded to Austria Lustenau in the Austrian Bundesliga. However, he was unable to get on track at the Ländleklub due to an injury. At the end of his loan, he had played 80 minutes in a total of four games, and Lustenau did not take advantage of an existing purchase option.
