The sneakers sneakers’ sneaker dealer has a new owner. On Friday, the Berlin-based investment company Reviprok Ventures in the LinkedIn business network confirmed the takeover of the company based in Stockholm. Accordingly, Erik Manzano Fagerlind, one of the founders of sneakersnstuff, will return to the top of the retailer as CEO.
SNS, the Swedish Society of Sneakersnstuff, had filed for bankruptcy on January 20. However, the foreign companies were not affected by the step. The branches in Berlin, Paris and London as well as the online stores in Great Britain and the USA were continued.
The aim is now to use “new opportunities for sustainable growth” at Sneakersnstuff and to curate the digital offer more specifically, said Reviprok. According to reports in Swedish specialist media, it is also planned to reopen the branch in Stockholm and the store in New York, which is temporarily closed in the course of the bankruptcy.
