The Danish Womenswear brand Blanche Copenhagen seems to be standing before the end.

After the company had to register bankruptcy in June, the trip for Bjørn Krøyer, who started as an investor two years ago and then took over the management, was now over, the CEO announced on Thursday at the LinkedIn career network.

After its entry into record time, the company was restructured, the team rebuilt and redefined the brand. But shortly afterwards “the global fashion industry was hit by one of the most severe crises in its history,” said the brand manager. “Despite great efforts, courageous decisions and an excellent team, we could not ultimately withstand the market forces.”

Krøyer, who thanked all suppliers in his post: Inside, partners: inside and other supporters, now wants to take a step back to think and decide how to proceed.

The brand, which is particularly on Denim-Pieces, but also products with Scandinavian minimalism, is also available from retailers: inside such as Zalando, Scandi Club and anthropology. The blanche online shop is already offline.
